Snow Ridge ski area is known for its annual snowfall, receiving over 230 inches each year. With a ski school that has PSS instructors ready to teach new skiers the basics or give returning skiers a refresher, it’s no wonder this ski hill attracts both local and state-wide visitors. If you’re planning on hitting Snow Ridge and one of its 21 runs, you’re going to need someplace to stay. Thankfully, the options for Snow Ridge lodging are plentiful. Some of the best places offer ski and stay packages, bundling together lift tickets and your room. Try out one of these hotels to take advantage of that.

The Towpath Lodge

Towpath is the closest Snow Ridge lodging to the hill, just a few minutes’ walk to the entrance. Four rooms are available to rent above the lodge, each with a double bed. The rooms are sparse, but comfortable, and given their location, an extremely good deal for someone alone or couples skiing. While the rooms are simple, the downstairs lodge and restaurant offers a full menu ranging from comforting pasta dishes to classic seafood. The Towpath Lounge is a great après ski place to unwind after a long day on the slopes

West Wind Motel

The West Wind offers two different places to stay for Snow Ridge skiers. The motel has six rooms; one has two bedrooms, perfect for larger families. West Wind also has a remodeled farmhouse with four townhouse units inside. Each townhouse can sleep up to 6 and comes with a fully furnished and equipped kitchen. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, and for families looking to save some money, the kitchen allows preparation of you own meals. Each unit comes with complimentary Wi-Fi as well.

The Edge Hotel

The Edge Hotel is a local option for Snow Ridge lodging that offers a classic hotel experience. The 65 rooms come in two varieties; one comes with a single king bed, the other comes with two full. Both rooms also have optional Jacuzzi tubs. The hotel also offers a complimentary continental breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, and make your own waffles. Hot cocoa, tea, and coffee are also available anytime in the lobby. The hotel is newly renovated and is a great option for all manner of travelers. The attached restaurant is a great place for families and friends to unwind after a day skiing and tubing at Snow Ridge.

Old Church Inn

The Old Church Inn is only a few minutes’ drive north of the resort, but deserves a mention because of its décor and elegance. The rooms at the inn are cozy and comfortable, and more often than not, you’ll be one of the only guests there. That isn’t because there’s something wrong with the inn, but the lack of marketing makes this an often overlooked gem. There’s a full kitchen that guests have access to as well as a large sitting area perfect for storing your gear overnight.

With Snow Ridge’s proximity to multiple small towns that thrive on tourism in the Adirondacks, there are many more quaint and unique inns and B&B’s in the area. With a little exploration, you can find some Snow Ridge lodging that will help make your vacation one to remember.
