Staying Near the Mountain

Titus Mountain doesn’t have any onsite lodging. The closest hotels are located just a few minutes’ drive north in Malone. There, the options are as varied as the skiing at Titus. If you belong to a hotel rewards club, there are several chains located right along US-11. There, the Titus Mountain Family Ski Center lodging choices include an Econo Lodge, Holiday Inn, Red Roof Plus, and a Four Seasons Motel. Amenities at all of these locations are about the same. Red Roof, Econo Lodge and Holiday Inn all offer a free breakfast, while the latter two also offer free wi-fi. Best of all, they all participate in ski and stay packages with Titus, offering discount lift tickets in conjunction with an overnight stay.

If you’re looking for something a little different, there are some other places for Titus Mountain Family Ski Center lodging that will fit the bill. The Clarkson Inn is a local boutique hotel that has operated continuously for the past twenty-five years. Rooms have either a view of the River or of historic downtown Potsdam. Rooms come with one or two queen beds and each has a complimentary refrigerator and microwave. If you’re a family traveling with young children, kids that are 10 and under stay free. The Clarkson is located in Potsdam, which is a little farther away from Titus than Malone, but the amenities make the trip more than worthwhile.

Another option for Titus Mountain Family Ski Center lodging is the locally owned and operated Kilburn Manor B&B. There are seven bedrooms available, with a fully equipped kitchen available for guest use. As a bed and breakfast, Kilburn Manor features a gourmet breakfast with tasty French pressed coffee. After skiing, there’s a large fireplace to relax by and a library with a wide selection of books available. Additionally, if you find yourself in need, there’s a laundry room for guest use.
